TheOracle Food & Beverage Global Business Unit (FBGBU) develops hospitalityproducts for the restaurant industry.
Theseproducts support the full lifecycle of restaurant operations. The Back Officesoftware products support system configuration such as a restaurants menu andprices, sales reporting, and inventory management. The Point Of Sale (POS)product supports food ordering on the Oracle | MICROS POS workstation hardwareand hand held devices, the software include support for hardware devicesattached to the workstation such as printers, scales, and coin changers. Thesoftware functionality is developed and tested by members of the Oracle FBGBUteam before being released to the customers.Responsibilities:
Design, Develop, Troubleshoot and Debug software applicationswhich implement functional areas of the hospitality product suite
Tasks include coding, unit testing, debugging, designdocumentation, integration, performance tuning and maintenance of assignedsoftware modules
Participate and interact with team members in design and codereview sessions.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, conferring withsuperiors on unusual or extremely complex matters. Assignments are broad innature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity.
Experience with development tools such as NetBeans, Eclipse, GIT,SVN, Unit testing and code coverage tools is desired.
Familiarity with C#, ASP.net, .net Framework, Multi-Threading,SQL, and Linux is a plus.

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
