Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking an experienced JRE EnterpriseVulnerability Management Software Engineer who can lead, direct and design networks and computer systems for a large federal agency. The individual will support multiple network projects and be the lead supporting a large federal agency. This position will be located in Woodlawn, MD. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health Systems Management operating unit, which focuses on Healthcare IT solutions for our Federal, State, and Local government clients. Developers design, develop and test application/ interfaces and create technical documentation for applications. The qualified candidate should also have strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail. Description of Work: The Senior Vulnerability Management Analyst will ensure continuous vulnerability lifecycle management within the Social Security Administration environment and include the following requirements; Monitoring, collection, reporting, and assessment of impact for vulnerability related data from vendors and internal sources. Candidate must form strong partnerships with technical teams, internal and external stakeholders, understand wide scale enterprise deployment of JRE in the SSA environment in a timely and effective manner. Understanding of the customer requirements, understanding of stakeholder requirements, and can communicate effectively to technical and non-technical audiences. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of relevant work experience OR a minimum 6 years of relevant work experience as a Developer in development environment (such as Java/J2EE) in lieu of a degree Minimum of 2 years of handling administrative support, meeting and reporting support Minimum of 2 years of experience in JAVA Advanced Management Console; JIRA; software runtime analysis, debugging, and wide scale deployment and implementation; system, database, and/or network administration; operational details of multiple operating systems; vulnerability management concepts and tools; process flow documentation; and experience in project management and dealing with multiple stakeholders. Minimum of 4 years of experience and ability to develop and explain technical decisions; have excellent work prioritization, planning, and organizational skills; interact effectively with all stakeholders; excellent analytical, reasoning, and creative problem solving skills; excellent written, oral communication skills; be able to collaborate effectively and work closely within a coordinated team environment; be able to quickly learn new procedures, techniques, and approaches; maintain composure while dealing with multiple customers. Must be US Citizen or US Permanent Resident (Green card holder) Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration. Experience: Ideal candidates will have substantial experience in two or more of the following areas: web application development and deployment in a large enterprise; software development; computer and network architecture; network security and survivability issues, to include knowledge of and experience with information security concepts and information security best practices. Significant experience with JAVA Advanced Management Console; JIRA; deployment of updates to existing deployed JRE solutions. Experience with large enterprise deployment projects.
